This work is the fourth report in the series, Marketing Research and Industry, co-sponsored by the American Marketing Association and the National Association of Manufacturers. Dr. Dik Warren Twedt was Professor of Marketing and Quantitative Management Science at the University of Missouri in St. Louis. He died in 1985 at the age of 64. He was a marketing researcher and a member of the American Marketing Association. He worked for Oscar Mayer & Company in Madison, Wisconsin in the 1960s. He was also a prolific editor of such survey proceedings as The 1958 Survey of Marketing Research.
